SMS Policy
Effective Date: 09 June 2026 | Last Updated: 09 June 2026
This SMS Policy explains how SecurePath, a brand and division of ZAP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED, sends and manages SMS communications to consumers who have voluntarily subscribed to our identity-protection and scam-awareness services. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions and is published to satisfy CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook, Twilio 10DLC, TCPA, and applicable state-law requirements for SMS practice transparency.
1. Brand Identification
Sender brand: SecurePath — a brand of ZAP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U74900PN2012PTC143202)
A2P Brand Registration: verified with Twilio TCR · STANDARD tier
Carrier infrastructure: Twilio Inc. (10DLC carrier-compliant)
Sending number range: U.S. 10-digit long codes provisioned through Twilio under the registered campaign
Every SMS sent under this policy identifies “SecurePath” as the sender brand at the start of the message body, except where the same identification has already been provided in an immediately prior message of the same conversation thread.
2. Use Case
SecurePath SMS messages are sent solely in support of identity-protection and scam-awareness services to consumers who have voluntarily subscribed. Permitted message categories:
- Onboarding confirmation and account-setup follow-ups
- Data-breach and credential-exposure alerts
- Scam pattern advisories and protective guidance
- Identity-theft remediation walkthroughs (consumer-initiated)
- Suspicious-activity alerts based on monitoring services consumer has subscribed to
- Account servicing notifications (subscription status, billing reminders for paid plans)
- Customer-care responses to consumer-initiated inquiries
We do not use SMS for unrelated marketing, third-party advertising, sweepstakes, or promotion of any non-SecurePath products.
3. Consent Provenance (How Opt-In Works)
SecurePath uses a consumer-initiated web-form opt-in model:
- The consumer visits securepath.one or one of our sign-up pages.
- The consumer enters their name, email, and (optionally) their mobile telephone number.
- The consumer ticks an explicit, unchecked-by-default consent box that states verbatim: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS from SecurePath about identity-protection alerts, breach notifications, scam advisories, and account-related updates. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Mobile numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
- The submission is recorded with timestamp and IP address as the consent record. Consent is voluntary and is not required to use any non-SMS portion of our service.
- The consumer receives a confirmation SMS within minutes of submission that reiterates the brand, the use case, the HELP/STOP keywords, and rate disclosures (double opt-in pattern).
Consent records are retained for thirty-six (36) months following the last consumer interaction and are produced upon request from carriers, regulators, or the consumer themselves.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on monitoring activity and the consumer’s subscription. Typical frequency: 0 to 6 messages per week per consumer. In the event of a major breach affecting the consumer, frequency may temporarily increase to deliver time-sensitive remediation guidance.
5. Carrier Rate Disclosure
Msg & data rates may apply. Standard message and data charges from the consumer’s wireless carrier may apply. SecurePath does not charge the consumer separately for SMS messages.
6. HELP — How to Get Help
Reply HELP (or INFO) to any SMS from SecurePath to receive a reply containing our consumer support contact information.
Example HELP reply: SecurePath: For help, email support@securepath.one or visit securepath.one/help. To stop SMS reply STOP. Msg & data rates may apply.
7. STOP — How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS communications from SecurePath at any time via any of these channels:
- SMS reply: Reply STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, REVOKE, or STOPALL to any SMS from us.
- Email: Send a written opt-out request to support@securepath.one.
- Account portal: Disable SMS notifications in your SecurePath account preferences.
Opt-out is processed immediately upon receipt and applies to all future SMS communications. You may opt back in at any time by replying START or via your account portal.
8. Sample Messages
9. Opt-In Keywords (after a previous opt-out)
10. Information Sharing Statement
Mobile telephone numbers and SMS opt-in records are not shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes. SMS opt-in records are not sold, rented, or disclosed under any circumstance.
Mobile numbers are processed solely by SecurePath, operated by ZAP TECH PRIVATE LIMITED, through Twilio Inc. as our 10DLC carrier-compliant messaging provider, and only for the identity-protection and scam-awareness communications described in §2 above.
11. Recordkeeping and Audit
We maintain records of each SMS sent (date, time, recipient, content, delivery status), each opt-out and opt-in event, and consent capture (timestamp, IP). Records are retained per applicable law and audited regularly under our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System.

We may update this SMS Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, communicated by SMS to active subscribers.
